Felicia Hardy a.k.a. Vultress (originally Black Cat) is the daughter of Marshall Hardy (played by John Malkovich) with Peter Parker having a love-triangle with her. She later became Vulture's successor.

While appearing on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Hathaway spoke about almost getting to enter the Spider-Man 4, saying:
[I] did not get into costume and did not read a script past the audition slides. […] I got the part and, yeah, it just… I think that's probably more the producers' story to tell than mine should they ever decide to tell it. Because the Spider-Man Universe has gone on to be so enormous and so thrilling. It's just reinventing itself and all of those things so I wouldn't want to make more of it than is necessary.

- Felicia Hardy was originally supposed to appear in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 4 and be played by Anne Hathaway, though she would not have transformed into the Black Cat, as in the comics. Instead, Raimi's Felicia was expected to become a new super-powered figure called the Vulturess.[1]
- However, in 2013 Raimi stated that Anne Hathaway would have played Black Cat if Spider-Man 4 had been made.[2]
